Brothers and sisters, this is probably the most sensitive topic any man could ever discuss. But a disciple doesn’t run from the hardest passages. He covers them. Not to do so would be cowardly. Now is the time for real strength. So here we go. Are you ready?
I’ll be honest with you: I’m a single man. I struggle with this. But I’m not a slave to it. The only reason I’m not a slave is through God’s help alone. And it’s a progression. If I pretend I’m above these temptations, I’d be lying to you. And you wouldn’t trust me. Authenticity starts with truth.
I’ve been all over the world. I was almost married a couple of times. When I was younger, I used to try to figure out what women wanted. Masculinity? Character? All those things matter. But I forgot one critical lesson: Location. 😆
The light switch flipped for me when I studied Abraham and Jacob. Abraham told his servant to go back to his own people to find a wife for Isaac. He didn’t settle for the land of compromise. Jacob fell in love with Rachel, but he had to work, sacrifice, and pursue with intentionality. Most men today are settling for scrolling Instagram, TikTok, and X, consuming lustful images that make women feel validated and men feel defeated. You lose your power. You think something’s wrong with you.
In some ways, yes. But the problem isn’t unique. The Bible says many are destroyed for lack of knowledge. If you’re looking for a godly woman in the wrong location, you’re knocking yourself in the head. You can’t even assume “church” is the automatic right location today. Some churches have it wrong too. So what’s a man supposed to do?
I’ve traveled, searched, and prayed. And I found a common denominator everywhere I’ve been: There are two kinds of women. The Vanity Woman (Proverbs 7) and the Covenant Woman (Proverbs 31). The Proverbs 7 woman is beautiful, but she’s a trap. She’s not your only option. The Proverbs 31 woman exists. She’s just as beautiful, just your type, and she’s found when you take your challenges to the Lord, ask Him for help, and trust Him to lead you.
THE MODERN TWILIGHT: INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, X
Proverbs 7:6 says: “For at the window of my house I looked through my casement.”
In Solomon’s day, it was a physical window. Today? It’s your phone screen.
The Digital Trap:
- 📱 TikTok — Algorithm feeds you endless “twilight” content
- 📸 Instagram — Curated images that validate vanity
- ❌ X (Twitter) — Lustful pictures disguised as “freedom”
- 💻 YouTube, Dating Apps, Streaming — All windows to the same trap
These aren’t neutral platforms. They’re modern casements where the Proverbs 7 woman waits. And you’re walking straight into her corner.
THE BATTLE PLAN: HOW TO ACTUALLY FLEE
Here’s the complete strategy. This isn’t theory. This is warfare.
🛡️ STEP 1: THE COVENANT WITH YOUR EYES (Job 31:1)
“I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?”
This isn’t willpower. This is a legal spiritual agreement with God. Pray this aloud:
“Lord Jesus, I make a covenant with my eyes today. What enters through my eyes, I submit to You. I renounce the lust of the eyes. My eyes are Yours. Guard them. Protect them. Amen.”
STEP 2: CHANGE YOUR LOCATION (Abraham’s Strategy)
Abraham didn’t send his servant to a nightclub. He sent him to the house of Bethuel — where covenant women were.
Action Steps:
- ✅ Unfollow accounts that trigger lust
- ✅ Delete TikTok/Instagram/X if they’re windows to sin
- ✅ Install accountability software (Covenant Eyes, Accountable2You)
- ✅ Replace scrolling with Scripture (download Bible apps instead)
⚔️ STEP 3: WEAR THE BREASTPLATE (Ephesians 6:14)
The breastplate of righteousness isn’t earned. It’s imputed through Christ. But you activate it through obedience.
Pre-wire Your Heart:
- 📖 Memorize Proverbs 7:24-27 (the warning)
- 📖 Memorize 1 Corinthians 10:13 (the escape)
- 📖 Memorize 2 Timothy 2:22 (the command: FLEE)
- 🙏 Pray Psalm 119:37 daily: “Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity”
👥 STEP 4: BROTHERHOOD THAT FIGHTS WITH YOU
You cannot fight this alone. Find 1-2 brothers who will:
- Ask you weekly: “How’s your walk? Show me your phone.”
- Pray with you, not just talk at you
- Hold you accountable without condemnation
- Point you to grace when you stumble
🙏 STEP 5: PURSUE THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN THROUGH PRAYER
Stop chasing the Proverbs 7 woman. Start praying for the Proverbs 31 woman:
“Lord, bring me a woman who fears You. A woman of covenant, not vanity. A woman who serves, not consumes. I will not settle for less. I trust You to bring her at the right time. Amen.”
⚡ YOUR 5-MINUTE ACTIVATION: FLEE. PURSUE. STAND.
Here’s your battle plan. Do this now. Not later. Now.

“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” — 2 Timothy 2:22 (KJV)
Step 1: MAKE THE COVENANT (60 seconds)
Pray aloud right now: “Lord, I make a covenant with my eyes. I renounce lust. My eyes are Yours.”
Don’t skip this. Speak it. Covenant requires words.
Step 2: REMOVE THE ACCESS (60 seconds)
Pick ONE platform to delete or unfollow triggers:
- ✅ Delete TikTok
- ✅ Unfollow 10 triggering Instagram accounts
- ✅ Block X/Twitter for 30 days
Do it NOW while conviction is hot. Not later.
Step 3: MEMORIZE THE ESCAPE (90 seconds)
Read 1 Corinthians 10:13 aloud 3 times:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
This is your weapon. Carry it.
Step 4: CALL A BROTHER (60 seconds)
Text or call one brother right now:
“Brother, I’m fighting for purity. Will you hold me accountable? Can we talk this week?”
Don’t fight alone. Brotherhood is warfare.
Step 5: PRAY FOR THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN (30 seconds)
Pray this:
“Lord, I trust You to bring me a Proverbs 31 woman. A woman of covenant, not vanity. I will not settle. I will wait on You. Amen.”
⏱️ TOTAL TIME: 5 MINUTES
You just activated your battle plan. Now walk in it daily. The King is watching.
🕊️ A UNIQUE INVITATION: From Bondage to Freedom
This isn’t about willpower. This is about being born again.

The wisest decision you’ll ever make… is the simplest.
Here’s the path from bondage to freedom. RIGHT NOW:
✅ A — ACKNOWLEDGE Your Need for a Savior
Willpower won’t save you. Rules won’t save you. Acknowledge your need for Christ. He alone breaks the chains of lust and gives you a new heart.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
✅ B — BELIEVE Jesus Died for Your Freedom
He didn’t just die for your salvation. He died for your sanctification. His blood covers your failures. His Spirit empowers your victory. Believe it. Receive it.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
✅ C — COMMIT to Walking in Freedom
Commit to daily surrender. To fleeing lust. To pursuing purity. To letting Christ transform your desires from the inside out.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
👉 Pray this from your heart. Right where you are:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my need for You. I believe You died for my freedom. I commit to walking in purity by Your Spirit. Break my chains. Make me new. I am Yours. Today and forever. Amen.”
