Code of Conduct | Divine Timing Ministries

Loving One Another as We Watch for the King

By David Brooks | Founder and CEO of Divine Timing Ministries

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29, KJV)

At Divine Timing Ministries, we believe prophecy teaching should build up the Body of Christ, not tear it down. As we watch for the King’s return together, we commit to interacting with love, respect, and biblical truth.

This Code of Conduct applies to all comments, chats, social media interactions, and community spaces associated with Divine Timing Ministries.

🕊️ Our Core Values

1. Christ-Centered Respect

✅ Treat every person with dignity, regardless of background, denomination, or opinion
✅ Remember: every soul is precious to God
✅ Disagree with ideas, not with people

2. Biblical Truth with Grace

✅ Speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15)
✅ Ground discussions in Scripture, not speculation
✅ Avoid fear-mongering, date-setting, or sensationalism

3. Edifying Communication

✅ Build up, don’t tear down (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
✅ Ask questions to learn, not to attack
✅ Share testimonies that encourage faith

4. Unity in Essentials, Liberty in Non-Essentials

✅ Hold firmly to core doctrines: salvation by grace, the deity of Christ, the authority of Scripture
✅ Allow freedom on secondary issues: timing details, interpretive differences
✅ Never divide over non-essential matters

5. Protection of the Vulnerable

✅ No harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
✅ No sharing of private information without consent
✅ Report concerning behavior to moderators immediately

❌ What We Do Not Allow

To maintain a safe, grace-filled community, the following are prohibited:

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or prejudice based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, or nationality
  • Personal attacks, name-calling, or insults directed at individuals or groups
  • Profanity, vulgarity, or sexually explicit content
  • Spam, self-promotion, or commercial solicitation without prior approval
  • Doctrinal attacks on core Christian beliefs (deity of Christ, salvation by grace, authority of Scripture)
  • Conspiracy theories not grounded in biblical text
  • Political campaigning or partisan agitation (we focus on Scripture, not parties)
  • Threats, harassment, or intimidation of any kind
  • Sharing false information or deliberately misleading content

💬 How We Handle Violations

Our moderation team (including trusted partners like Crissa in the Philippines) reviews reports and takes action as needed:

Violation Level
Response
First minor offense
Warning + education on community guidelines
Repeated minor offenses
Temporary comment suspension (7-30 days)
Major offense (hate speech, threats, harassment)
Immediate permanent ban
Legal concerns (threats of violence, illegal activity)
Report to appropriate authorities
All moderation decisions are made prayerfully and with the goal of restoration when possible.

🙏 How to Engage Well

Before You Comment, Ask:

  1. Is it true? – Am I sharing accurate, Scripture-based content?
  2. Is it kind? – Does my tone reflect Christ’s love?
  3. Is it necessary? – Does this add value to the discussion?
  4. Is it edifying? – Will this build up faith or stir up strife?

When You Disagree:

✅ “I see it differently because [Scripture reference]…”
✅ “Help me understand your perspective on this passage…”
✅ “I appreciate your passion. Here’s how I’ve come to understand this…”

❌ Avoid: “You’re wrong,” “That’s heresy,” “Only idiots believe that”

When You’re Hurt or Offended:

✅ Message a moderator privately first
✅ Assume good intent unless proven otherwise
✅ Remember: we’re all growing in grace

🌍 Global Community, One Standard

Divine Timing Ministries serves believers worldwide. We celebrate diverse cultures, languages, and expressions of worship while holding to one standard: Christ-like love and biblical truth.

Whether you’re commenting from Manila, Miami, London, or Lagos – this Code of Conduct applies equally to all.

🕊️ A Final Word from David

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8, KJV)

Friends, we’re living in extraordinary times. The King is coming. The Bride is being made ready.

Let’s ensure our words, our interactions, and our community reflect the One we serve.

Not perfection. But progress. Not judgment. But grace. Not division. But unity in Christ.

Thank you for helping make Divine Timing Ministries a place where truth is taught, love is practiced, and souls are prepared.

Maranatha. The King is coming.
