THE VOICE OF ELIHU: MY GOD IS HE
I am Elihu, son of Barachel. My name means “My God is He.”
I sat in the dust, and I watched. I watched Job’s three friends throw their empty arguments at a broken man. I watched them debate theology while Job’s soul was crushing under the weight of the world. I stayed quiet, because I was young. But as the days went on, my spirit compelled me to speak.
Why? Because I realized something they completely missed. They were trying to win an argument, but Job didn’t need an argument. He needed his God.
Arguments do not heal the brokenhearted. Debates do not bind up wounded spirits. Only one thing moves the hand of Heaven: Prayer.
PRAYER CHANGES LIVES AND NATIONS
I am stepping into your time, into the year 2026, because the world around you is doing the exact same thing. The news debates. The politicians argue. The world throws empty words at your pain. But I am here to tell you that God is Live. He is not a distant observer. He is not silent.
When the arguments fail, prayer changes lives and nations.
Look at the ones who understood this:
✅ Jesus – Our ultimate Intercessor, who in the Garden of Gethsemane surrendered His will to the Father, moving the entire plan of redemption and saving the world.
✅ Moses – Who stood in the breach and pleaded for a rebellious Israel, and God relented from His judgment, saving a nation.
✅ David – Who didn’t use religious jargon, but poured out his raw, broken heart in the Psalms, and God met him in the pit and made him a king.
✅ Elijah – A man just like you, who prayed earnestly, and the heavens opened and shut at his word, turning a nation back to the Lord.
These are not just stories. They are the blueprint. They are the proof that when you call out, the God who is Live answers.

Pray this from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I admit I’m a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

We come before Your throne of grace right now, lifting up our beloved sister, Nikki. Lord, You know every detail of her pain. You know the ache in her ribs, the struggle of her partial collapsed lung, and the deep, heavy exhaustion that has settled into her bones.
We speak directly to her body in the mighty name of Jesus. We command her lungs to fully expand and function perfectly, just as You designed them. We ask that You would knit her ribs back together with divine strength and speed. Lord, replace her exhaustion with Your supernatural rest. Let her sleep be sweet, restorative, and filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Wrap Your loving arms around her, Father. Remind her that she is not fighting this alone. Surround her with caregivers who are wise, gentle, and effective. We declare that this season of weakness is temporary, and that she will rise up with renewed strength, testifying of Your goodness and Your healing touch.
In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name, Amen.”

Our hearts are heavy today as we lift up the family, friends, and fellow officers of Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips. At just 30 years old, Hayden gave the ultimate sacrifice during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 65, leaving behind a grieving wife and three young boys who now have to navigate this world without their dad.

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but in moments like this, the pain is deeply physical and profoundly real. Today, we are covering the Phillips family, the Kentucky State Police, and the entire community of Warren County in prayer.
🕊️ OUR PRAYER FOR HAYDEN’S FAMILY & FELLOW OFFICERS

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up the family of Trooper Hayden Phillips. Lord, we pray specifically for his wife and his three young sons. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would wrap them in a comfort that surpasses all understanding. When the house is quiet and the grief feels too heavy to bear, be their refuge and their fortress. Provide for their every need, surround them with a community of believers who will walk this path with them, and let them know that Hayden’s sacrifice will never be forgotten.
We pray for the men and women of the Kentucky State Police, Post 3 in Bowling Green, and all first responders. Lord, they run toward the danger when everyone else runs away. Give them strength, give them peace, and give them the courage to continue their vital work. Heal the trauma of the officers who were on the scene today.
We also pray for justice. We ask that the legal process would be swift and righteous for the suspect in custody. But Lord, we also pray for the soul of the one who pulled the trigger. We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring deep conviction, that he would face true justice, and that he would turn to You in repentance before it is too late.
Bless the peacemakers, Lord. Comfort the mourning. And let Your light shine in the darkest valleys.

We hear your cry, and we are standing with you in the gap. The daily trials and tests of life can often feel like a heavy mantle, but we are reminded of the wisdom of Elihu, who declared that God uses affliction not to destroy, but to awaken and to refine: “He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.” (Job 36:15, KJV).
Your request for endurance and peace is a holy request. It is an invitation for the Holy Spirit to anchor your soul. The Apostle Paul reminds us: “…knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1:3-4, NASB). You are not being tested because God has abandoned you; you are being strengthened because He is preparing you for the victory He has already secured at the Cross.

Breathe and Release (1 Minute): Close your eyes. Take three deep, slow breaths. With each exhale, consciously release the anxiety of the “daily tests” to the feet of Jesus. Say aloud: “Lord, I release my need to figure it all out. I hand this trial over to You.”

Declare that your endurance is not based on your own strength, but on the finished work of the Cross.
Intercede and Seal (2 Minutes): Pray for anyone else in your life facing similar daily trials. Ask the Holy Spirit to blanket your home with His peace. Seal your prayer by thanking God in advance for the endurance He is building in you. End with, “In the mighty, victorious name of Jesus, Amen.”
