Church family, this is David. I need to share something with you that will shake you to your core. This isn’t a story. This isn’t fiction. This is a real, raw testimony from a nurse who witnessed something terrifying.
A nurse—someone who has seen death many times—recently shared an experience that left them shaken for days. They were caring for a dying man in a nursing home. A man who was not a believer. The family, born-again Christians, had tried to honor their father despite his life of selfishness, abandonment, and hurt.
THE TERRIFYING MOMENT
The man was incoherent, on hospice, just hours from death. He was experiencing agonal breathing. And then… it happened.
His body stiffened like a board. His eyes popped open. He started screaming—full volume—”I’M NOT GOING! I’M NOT GOING! NO! NO! NO!”
The family tried to hold him down. They couldn’t believe it. One minute he was completely ready to go, and the next he was fighting with everything he had, acting like he was ready to jump out of the bed and run for his life.
The lights in that old nursing home started flickering. Never before, never after—just in that exact moment. The nurse started praying and rebuking in their heart, but a strong impression said, “Stop. There’s nothing you can do. This can’t be stopped.”
And then it happened. From screaming and hollering to absolute silence. Last breath. Boom. Done.
HELL IS REAL: THE TERRIBLE TRUTH
Church family, I’m not telling you this to fear-monger. I’m telling you this because HELL IS REAL. Jesus described it in Matthew 25:46 as “eternal punishment.” Revelation 20:15 says, “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
That man had no IV access. No second chance. No do-overs. He faced eternity in a single moment.
The nurse said, “Think of the worst torment you can imagine. Now multiply it by a million. That’s hell. And it NEVER ENDS.”
THE ONLY WAY: JESUS CHRIST
But here’s the glorious truth: YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO THERE! Jesus Christ is the ONLY way. He said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
This nurse took that seriously. They said, “I’m taking the insurance policy for my soul. What if Jesus was telling the truth? What if by chance I’m wrong and I don’t trust Him? There are no do-overs.”
The world is dabbling in magic, affirmations, and Solomon’s secrets, trying to get abundance. But Christ said, “Come to Me, and I’ll give you rest. Seek first the kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.”
