Watchmen, we have reached the grand climax. Revelation chapter 18 is over. Babylon has fallen. The merchants have wept. The supernatural finish has been executed. And now, the heavens are about to tear open.
Welcome to Revelation chapter 19: Jesus makes His dramatic and climactic return to the earth!
THE HALLELUJAH CHORUS & THE MARRIAGE SUPPER
The chapter begins not on earth, but in heaven. After the judgment of the Great Whore, a massive roar like a great multitude is shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God!” (Rev 19:1).
The marriage supper of the Lamb has arrived. The Bride—the Church, raptured before the Tribulation—has made herself ready, clothed in fine linen, clean and white, which is the righteousness of saints. The Church is in heaven, waiting for her Husband to return and claim His kingdom.
THE RIDER ON THE WHITE HORSE
Then, the focus shifts to earth. Heaven opens, and behold, a white horse. The rider is called Faithful and True. His eyes are as a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns. He is clothed in a vesture dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
The armies of heaven follow Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of His mouth goes a sharp sword to strike the nations. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This is not the humble carpenter of Nazareth. This is the conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON & THE KINGS OF THE EAST
On the other side, the beast (the Antichrist), the false prophet, and the kings of the earth gather their armies for the battle of Armageddon. This includes the Kings of the East, the massive armies from China crossing the dried-up Euphrates river (Rev 16:12).
But it is not a battle. It is an execution. The beast and the false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. The rest are slain with the sword of His mouth. The war is over in an instant.
⚡ THE PROPHETIC SURPRISE: KING DAVID LEADS THE ARMY
Here is a deep-cut prophetic truth that many miss. When the Lord returns, He is not alone in His earthly administration. The Old Testament prophets gave us a stunning clue about who will lead the armies of Israel in the end times.
Ezekiel 34:23-24 says: “And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David… And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them.” See also Jeremiah 30:9 and Hosea 3:5.
At the Second Coming, the resurrected, glorified King David will be present, leading the Lord’s army and serving as the prince over a restored Israel. It is a breathtaking fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant!

I didn’t understand who he was at first, but the Spirit of God whispered it to my heart. It was King David. The prophet Ezekiel said he would be the prince over Israel in the last days, and there he was, leading the Lord’s army!
Then, I saw Him. The Rider on the White Horse. Jesus. His eyes were like flames of fire. He didn’t even draw a physical weapon. He just spoke. The sword of His mouth struck the nations. It was over in an instant. The Beast and the False Prophet were thrown into the lake of fire.
I fell to my knees in the dirt, weeping. I survived. I made it. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord stood beside me. He smiled at me and said, “Timmy, you have kept your faith. You did not take the Mark. Come, you have an appointment in Jerusalem. The King is about to take His throne.”
I am walking to Jerusalem right now. The Millennium is beginning. If you are reading this, and the church age is still active for you, do not wait. Get saved now. Punch your time clock before the ship leaves the harbor. Maranatha!
