Church Family, the headlines told a story about a man being duct-taped to his seat on American Airlines Flight 618 after a violent outburst. But the media missed the real story. They missed the spiritual reality playing out 38,000 feet in the air. When bestselling author Jonathan Cahn shared his testimony, he didn’t just experience a “mental episode” from a stranger. The attacker’s ultimate goal wasn’t just to harm Jonathan; it was to grab and destroy his laptop—the very vessel where the book was written and where future revelations are stored. The physical violence was a manifestation of a spiritual war over the message.
THE VICTORY IN THE HEAVENLIES
The plane made an emergency landing in Baltimore. The man was subdued and duct-taped to his seat. But the real victory happened in the spirit. Jonathan stood firm. He did not panic. He knew whose side he was on.
The enemy is real, but God is more real. The attacks only confirm that the message is powerful. If the enemy is throwing everything he has at you, it means you are on the right path. There is a breakthrough waiting on the other side of the fight. As Jonathan said, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

Watchmen, the enemy is furious, but his time is short. Do not be surprised by the fiery trials. Stand firm in the gospel, keep your eyes on the King, and remember that the victory is already won.
