Proverbs 11: The Prophetic Panorama – The Righteous Shall Be Delivered

The wicked trust in riches and false alliances. But the righteous remnant shall be delivered from the day of wrath!
🎧 The day of wrath is coming. Are you delivered?
Friends and Bible Study Group of Divine Timing, I want to show you something extraordinary today. Proverbs chapter 11 is not just wisdom literature—it’s a prophetic panorama of our current age!
When you read it through the lens of what’s happening right now—the Iran deal, the covenant breakers, Lebanon as the stumbling block, Noah’s Gang of Eight (the remnant church)—it jumps off the page!
This chapter describes the exact dynamic we’re living in: the wicked trusting in false balances and riches, joining hands in unholy alliances, while the righteous remnant stands firm in faith, waiting to be delivered from the coming day of wrath.
VERSE 1: THE FALSE BALANCE – IRAN DEAL & COVENANT BREAKERS
“A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.”
Current Application: The Iran deal! False negotiations, covenant breakers who say one thing and do another. The world is operating on false balances right now.
We just watched talks between the U.S. and Iran get called off because of fighting in Lebanon. Iranian officials refused to travel to Switzerland, insisting the fighting must stop first. But here’s the thing: Iran has signaled its willingness to risk renewed war in the region for the sake of its interests in Lebanon and Hezbollah.
They’re operating on a false balance! They say they want peace, but they’re willing to go to war. They say they want negotiations, but they’re backing a terrorist organization. This is exactly what Proverbs 11:1 warns about!
And remember what Romans 1:31-32 says about the last days? “Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.”
Covenant breakers. That’s Iran. That’s the world system. That’s why no deal will hold!
VERSE 4: RICHES PROFIT NOT IN THE DAY OF WRATH
“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.”
Current Application: All the oil money, the $300 billion funds, the economic incentives—they won’t save anyone in the day of God’s wrath. Only righteousness (the remnant church) will be delivered!
Look at what’s happening: The interim deal has reopened the Strait of Hormuz. More than 12.5 million barrels of oil were shipped through the waterway. Iran has won concessions—the U.S. lifted its blockade, allowing Iran to sell its oil freely. There’s even a $300 billion fund for postwar reconstruction!
But Proverbs 11:4 declares: Riches profit NOT in the day of wrath!
All that oil money, all those economic incentives, all that military power—they cannot save anyone when God’s judgment comes. Only righteousness delivers from death!
And who is righteous? Not the world. Not the covenant breakers. But the remnant church—Noah’s Gang of Eight—who have kept God’s word!
VERSE 8: THE RIGHTEOUS DELIVERED – NOAH’S GANG OF EIGHT
“The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.”
Current Application: NOAH’S GANG OF EIGHT! The righteous remnant (the Church) will be delivered out of trouble (Rapture), and the wicked (those who remain) will face the tribulation!
This is the most powerful parallel in Proverbs 11! Out of the entire corrupt world in Noah’s day, only eight people were delivered. Noah, his wife, his three sons (Shem, Ham, and Japheth), and their three wives.
They were delivered out of trouble. The flood came, and the wicked came in their stead—they faced the judgment.
This is a perfect picture of the Rapture! The righteous remnant (the Philadelphia Church, those who have “little strength” but kept God’s word) will be delivered out of the trouble to come. And the wicked—those who remain—will face the Tribulation!
Jesus said in Matthew 24:37-39: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away.”
The righteous are delivered. The wicked face judgment. That’s Proverbs 11:8!
VERSE 14 & 21: WHERE NO COUNSEL IS, THE PEOPLE FALL
“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” (Verse 14)
“Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” (Verse 21)
Current Application: The world is falling because they have rejected God’s counsel! But the remnant has the multitude of counselors—the Holy Spirit, the Word, the prophets!
Look at what’s happening: Nations are joining hands in false alliances. The G7 Summit in France is hosting Iran negotiations. Coalitions are being formed. Military powers are aligning.
But Proverbs 11:21 declares: “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall NOT be unpunished!”
All their alliances, all their coalitions, all their false peace deals—they will not prevent God’s judgment! The wicked shall NOT go unpunished!
But look at the promise: “The seed of the righteous shall be delivered!”
That’s us, brother and sister! We are the seed of the righteous. We are the remnant. And we SHALL BE DELIVERED!
VERSE 28: HE THAT TRUSTETH IN HIS RICHES SHALL FALL
“He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.”
Current Application: Those trusting in oil money, economic deals, and military power shall fall. But the righteous remnant shall flourish!
The world is trusting in riches right now. Iran is trusting in oil revenue. Nations are trusting in economic incentives. Military powers are trusting in their weapons and alliances.
But Proverbs 11:28 declares: They shall FALL!
All their trust in riches, all their confidence in military power, all their reliance on economic deals—it will all come crashing down!
But look at the promise for the righteous: “The righteous shall flourish as a branch.”
Even when the world is falling, even when the wicked are being punished, even when the day of wrath comes—the righteous shall FLOURISH!
We are that righteous remnant. We are Noah’s Gang of Eight. We are the Philadelphia Church with “little strength” but we have kept His word. And we shall flourish!
VERSE 30-31: THE FRUIT OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS A TREE OF LIFE
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” (Verse 30)
“Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.” (Verse 31)
Current Application: This is US, brother and sister! The remnant church winning souls before the door shuts!
We are the fruit of the righteous. We are the tree of life in a dying world. And we are called to win souls—to warn people before the door of the ark shuts!
Proverbs 11:31 declares that the righteous shall be recompensed (rewarded) in the earth. But “much more the wicked and the sinner”—they shall face much greater judgment!
This is the great divide. The righteous are rewarded. The wicked are punished. The remnant is delivered. The world faces wrath.
The wicked trust in riches. The righteous trust in God. The wicked shall fall. The righteous shall be delivered!

Step 1: EXAMINE Your Trust (60 sec)
Are you trusting in riches, military power, or worldly alliances? Or are you trusting in the Lord? Pray: “Lord, I trust in You alone. Not in riches, not in power, but in Your righteousness.”
Step 2: CONFESS Your Need for Righteousness (90 sec)
You cannot be righteous on your own. You need Christ’s righteousness. Pray: “Lord, I confess I am not righteous on my own. I need Your righteousness. Cover me with the blood of Jesus.”
Step 3: PRAY for the Wicked (90 sec)
Pray for those trusting in riches and false alliances. They are like the wicked in Proverbs 11. Pray: “Lord, save them before the day of wrath comes. Use me to warn them. Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.”
