It is my Great Honor to nominate Michael Martin to serve as Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan! Mike has served as a Federal Prosecutor for more than two decades, primarily as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is the Chief of the Office’s Criminal Division, and former Chief of its National Security Unit. Receiving his J.D. from Boston College Law School, M.A. in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, and B.A. from Miami University, Mike also clerked for the late Judges Hugh Bownes and Edward F. Harrington. The people of Michigan are truly fortunate that a great public servant like Mike is joining the Federal Bench. Congratulations Mike!
