Noah’s Gang of Eight: The Remnant Who Believed the Judgment Was Coming
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away.”

The world is mocking the builders. But the rain is coming. Are you inside the Ark?
🎧 The door of the Ark is open. But not for long.
Friends and Bible Study Group of Divine Timing, I want to talk to you today about a very specific group of people. I call them Noah’s Gang of Eight.
Think about the world at that time. The earth was corrupt, filled with violence, and every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was only evil continually. Billions of people (or a massive multitude, depending on the timeline) living in absolute rebellion to God.
And out of all of them, how many believed God’s warning about the coming judgment? How many believed that a flood was actually going to wipe the slate clean?
Only eight. Noah, his wife, his three sons (Shem, Ham, and Japheth), and their three wives. That was the entire remnant. The “Gang of Eight.”
They believed the judgment was coming, but nobody else believed them. They were mocked, ridiculed, and laughed at while they built that massive Ark. But when the rain started, and the door of the Ark shut, nobody was laughing anymore.
JESUS SAID IT WOULD BE JUST LIKE THIS
We aren’t just studying ancient history. Jesus Christ explicitly told us that the days leading up to His Second Coming—and the Rapture of the Church—would be exactly like the days of Noah.
Look at Matthew 24:37-39: “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
What is the world doing right now? Eating, drinking, marrying, going about their daily lives, completely oblivious to the spiritual reality and the coming wrath. They are sleepwalking into judgment, just like the world did before the flood.
And just like Noah’s Gang of Eight, the modern-day remnant is warning them. We are sounding the alarm. And just like Noah, the world is laughing at us.
THE PHILADELPHIA CHURCH & “A LITTLE STRENGTH”
This brings us to a profound connection in the Book of Revelation. If Noah’s Gang of Eight represents the remnant of the Old Testament, who represents the remnant of the Church age right before the Rapture?
Look at the Philadelphia Church in Revelation 3:8. Jesus says this to them:
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
“You have a little strength.”
Think about Noah’s Gang of Eight. Did they have the strength of the world? No. They were just eight people. They didn’t have an army. They didn’t have political power. They didn’t have the cultural influence to stop the flood. In the eyes of the world, they had “little strength.”
But what did they have? They kept His word. They believed God when nobody else did. And because they had little strength, they relied entirely on the strength of the Lord. And He saved them.
Brother and sister, the true Church today is the Philadelphia Church. We might be outnumbered. We might be mocked by the culture, the media, and even the compromised church. We might feel like we have “little strength.” But if we keep His word and do not deny His name, He will set before us an open door that no man can shut—the door of the Rapture!
THE DOOR WILL CLOSE
The most sobering part of Noah’s story is in Genesis 7:16: “And those that entered in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.”
God shut the door. There was a point where the grace period ended, the door of the Ark was sealed, and it was too late for the mockers.
We are living in the antitype—the parallel. The door of the Ark of Salvation is open right now. But the Rapture is the moment the door will be shut. When the trumpet sounds, when the Church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air, the door of grace for the world will be closed, and the Tribulation will begin.
Don’t be left outside the Ark when the door shuts.
The world is laughing. The builders are working. The rain is coming. Are you inside the Ark?

Step 1: EXAMINE Your Position (60 sec)
Are you truly born again? Have you entered the Ark of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ? If the Rapture happened today, would you be taken, or left behind? Pray: “Lord, make sure I am inside.”
Step 2: REPENT of Worldly Distractions (90 sec)
Are you caught up in “eating, drinking, and marrying” like the world? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal if you’ve been sleepwalking. Pray: “Lord, forgive me for loving the world. Wake me up. I want to be ready.”
Step 3: PRAY for the Mockers (90 sec)
Pray for the people in your life who are laughing at the Gospel. They are like the mockers outside the Ark. Pray: “Lord, save them before the door shuts. Use me to warn them. Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.”

The door is open. But it won’t be open forever.
