📖 The Giver of Wisdom: Where IQ Comes From and Why It Matters for Eternity
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”
— Proverbs 2:6 (KJV)
Friends, we’ve been talking about Young Hoon Kim.
IQ of 276. Linguistic mastery. Mathematical precision. Prophetic proclamation.
But here’s the question most won’t ask:
Where does intelligence come from?
Is it genetics? Environment? Education? Or is there a Source behind all human intellect?
Proverbs has the answer.
And it changes everything.
SECTION 1: THE SOURCE OF ALL WISDOM — PROVERBS 2:6 DECODED
Let’s break down this verse phrase by phrase:

Notice: God is the Giver.

Key insight:
IQ is not ownership. It’s stewardship. And every steward will give an account.

SECTION 2: THE FOUNDATION — FEAR OF THE LORD
Proverbs doesn’t leave us guessing where wisdom begins:
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

This isn’t about being afraid of God.
This is about reverence, awe, submission.
What “fear of the LORD” means:
- 🙏 Reverence — Acknowledging God’s holiness, power, sovereignty
- 📖 Submission — Aligning your will with His commands
- ⚖️ Accountability — Living knowing you’ll give an account
- 👑 Worship — Recognizing Him as Source, not yourself
Without this foundation, intelligence becomes dangerous.
Lucifer had brilliant intellect. He fell.
Nebuchadnezzar had unmatched power. He was humbled.
Intelligence without reverence = pride.
Intelligence with reverence = wisdom.
SECTION 3: BIBLICAL MEDITATION — THE KEY TO UNLOCKING WISDOM
Here’s what Western Christianity often misses:
Biblical meditation is the bridge between knowledge and wisdom.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
— Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
Notice the sequence:
- 📖 Read — “This book of the law”
- 🗣️ Speak — “Shall not depart out of thy mouth”
- 🤔 Meditate — “Meditate therein day and night”
- ✅ Obey — “Observe to do according to all”
- 🎯 Result — “Prosperous way, good success”
Biblical meditation isn’t emptying your mind (eastern approach).
It’s filling your mind with God’s Word—chewing on it, digesting it, living it.
How to practice biblical meditation:
- 📖 Choose a passage — Proverbs, Psalms, or a Gospel chapter
- 🤔 Read slowly — Don’t rush; let each word sink in
- 💭 Ask questions — What does this reveal about God? About me? About eternity?
- 🙏 Pray it back — Turn Scripture into personal prayer
- ✅ Apply it — What will I do differently today?
This is how wisdom moves from head to heart to hands.
SECTION 4: WHY WISDOM MATTERS FOR ETERNITY
Here’s the sobering truth:
Your IQ won’t save you.
Einstein is in eternity. Hawking is in eternity. Kim will be in eternity.
The question isn’t “How intelligent were you?”
The question is: “Were you ready for the King?”
Wisdom for eternity means:
- 👑 Knowing the King — Not just knowing about Him
- ⏰ Living ready — Your Phase 3 is death or the Rapture
- 🌍 Warning others — Stewarding revelation for the lost
- 📖 Testing everything — “To the law and to the testimony” (Isaiah 8:20)
Young Hoon Kim uses his intellect to proclaim Christ’s return.
That’s wisdom.
You may not have IQ 276. But you have the same Holy Spirit.
And He gives wisdom to all who ask:

SECTION 5: THE URGENCY — STEWARD YOUR WISDOM NOW
Whether you have IQ 100 or IQ 276—the timeline is the same.
The Rapture happens BEFORE the man of sin is revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:7).
Your Phase 3 is death or the Rapture—whichever comes first.
Don’t wait for “more wisdom.”
Don’t delay readiness for “someday.”
Don’t put off salvation for “later.”
The Giver of Wisdom is also the Judge of all.
He’s patient. He’s merciful. He’s coming.

✅ B — BELIEVE the King Is Coming
The wisest people in history believed Jesus is returning. Einstein’s intellect couldn’t save him. Christ’s sacrifice can save you. Believe it. Live like it.
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)
✅ C — COMMIT to Stewardship
Whatever you have—intelligence, time, resources, revelation—it’s all entrusted to you. Commit to stewarding it for His glory, not your pride.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
👉 Pray this from your heart—right where you are:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as the Source of all wisdom. I believe You are coming. I commit to stewarding what You’ve given me. Seal me with Your Spirit. Keep me until You come. Make me Yours—today and forever. Amen.”
