Fans of Star Wars, and Bible Study Group of Divine Timing, tonight’s episode is unlike anything we’ve done before. James Earl Jones as Darth Vader sat down to record this message, and let’s just say… there was a disagreement.

David had one vision. Vader had another. “He’s not my son, so no privileges were going to be allowed!” Vader told us. But then, things took a turn. “I attempted to apply my Dark side force choke on him,” Vader revealed, “but for some reason, it wasn’t working. I felt a disturbance in the force.”

What was it that stopped the most feared villain in the galaxy? You’ll have to listen to find out. But one thing is certain: this isn’t just entertainment. This is a warning wrapped in a story you’ll never forget.

ANAKIN SKYWALKER: THE TRAGEDY OF THE CHOSEN ONE

In the Star Wars saga, Anakin Skywalker was the Chosen One. He was supposed to bring balance to the Force. He had incredible power, incredible potential, and a calling from a young age.

But he was manipulated. Tempted by promises of power, control, and the ability to save those he loved. He was told he could have it all—if only he would serve the dark side.

And he made the choice. He turned himself over to the dark side. He became Darth Vader. He hurt people. He destroyed lives. He became a weapon for the evil Emperor.

Only when it was too late did he realize he had made the wrong decision. It cost him his life. He even fought with his own son. He raised a weapon against his own blood.

In the end, he found redemption. But only after the damage was done.

THE DISTURBANCE IN THE FORCE

Here’s what Vader revealed that will give you chills: When he tried to use his dark side power against David, it didn’t work.

“I felt a disturbance in the force,” he said. “I knew something inside of Him was not to be trifled with.”

Brother, do you know what that “something” was? It was the seal of the Holy Spirit. It was the authority of a believer who knows whose he is.

Ephesians 1:13-14 says: “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

The dark side has NO POWER over those who are sealed in Christ. Vader could sense it. And that’s why he relented. That’s why he’s here tonight to tell you this story.

JUDAS ISCARIOT: THE NEW TESTAMENT ANAKIN

Now, here’s where it gets prophetic. Because this story isn’t just about a movie character. It’s about a biblical pattern. And that pattern shows up in the Bible with a man named Judas Iscariot.

Judas was the New Testament version of Anakin Skywalker.

Think about it. Judas was close to the Master. He walked with Jesus. He ate at His table. He was given authority—Jesus even gave him the power to cast out demons and heal the sick (Matthew 10:1-4). He had everything he needed to be faithful.

But his greed overtook him. John 12:6 tells us he was a thief who kept the money bag for himself. He was tempted by power, by money, by the promises of the religious leaders who offered him thirty pieces of silver.

And he made the choice.

When Jesus predicted his betrayal at the Last Supper, He looked at Judas and said, “What you do, do quickly” (John 13:27). Judas left the dinner table. He went into the night. He betrayed his Master with a kiss.

Just like Anakin betrayed the one who taught him. Anakin followed the Emperor. Judas followed the devil.

Both ended in destruction.

But here’s the difference: Judas never felt a disturbance in the force. He never sensed the Spirit pulling him back. He hardened his heart completely. And that’s the danger, brother. You can grieve the Holy Spirit so many times that He finally lets you go.

THE MAN OF SIN: THE ULTIMATE DARK SIDE

But here’s where the pattern escalates. Because there’s a third figure in this story. A figure who is currently standing in the wings, waiting for his moment.

The Man of Sin. The Antichrist.

Like Judas Iscariot… like Anakin Skywalker… he is going to have a decision to make.

Will he choose to do good? Will he humble himself before the True King?

Or will he go down the dark side?

The Bible tells us the answer.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 says: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

He chooses the dark side. Satan enters into him. He becomes the ultimate weapon of the enemy. He will deceive the nations. He will persecute the saints. He will set himself up as God.

He will be the final Anakin. The final Judas. The ultimate betrayal.

BUT GOD IS IN ABSOLUTE CONTROL

But here is what I need you to understand. And this is the most important part of the story.

God is in absolute control of everything.

Look at Genesis 50:20. Joseph said to his brothers who had sold him into slavery: “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

What man intends for evil, God intends for good. What the devil means for destruction, God means for judgment. What the nations plot in darkness, God uses to bring light.

This man of sin… this coming Antichrist… he will be used as a tool to judge wickedness. He will be the instrument of God’s wrath upon a world that has rejected Him.

Although he himself will find his demise in the end.

Revelation 19:20 says: “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

When the True King returns… when the real King of Kings rides forth on the white horse… this false king will be cast into the lake of fire. His empire will crumble. His deception will end. And every knee will bow to the One who is truly worthy.
