Church family, Israel is the timepiece of God. It is the prophetic clock that tells the Church exactly how close we are to the end of the age. And right now, the hands of that clock are moving faster than ever before. To understand where we are going, we must understand where Israel has been.
THE WRESTLING MATCH: JACOB VS. ISRAEL
Think about Jacob. He wrestled with the angel of the Lord all night in the dust. It was a brutal, physical, and spiritual struggle. That struggle perfectly depicts the historical existence of the nation of Israel. For thousands of years, their very survival has been a constant, grueling struggle against the nations of the world.
Here is the profound truth we must grasp: even when Jacob was not walking perfectly in God’s will, God still blessed him. His name literally meant “trickster” or “deceiver.” But after that wrestling match, when he finally surrendered, God changed his name to Israel, which means “Prince with God” or “God prevails.” Look at the nation of Israel today. In their current spiritual state, with the secularism, the idolatry, and the national rejection of their true Messiah, they are operating as Jacob. They are struggling. But when the true Messiah returns, the Bible promises they will become the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13).
THE BOILING POINT OF 2026
Right now, the hatred against Israel is reaching a terrifying boiling point. We are living in 2026, and the signs are flashing red across the globe. Radical Islamists are attempting to take down airliners and attack preachers in the skies. The Mayor of New York City is falsely accusing Israel of genocide while completely ignoring the unspeakable, demonic atrocities of Hamas.
The International Criminal Court is issuing arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu, which Donald Trump and many others rightly disqualify as an illegitimate, anti-Semitic rule of law. The world’s hatred is the sign. The anti-Semitism is no longer hidden; it is out in the open, and it is accelerating.
THE FIG TREE AND THE GENERATION
How do we know when the end is truly near, right at the very door, just as Jesus told us in Matthew chapter 24? We must look at the parable of the fig tree. The fig tree is Israel. Jesus said this generation will not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.
Psalm 90:10 tells us a generation is roughly 70 years, or 80 by reason of strength. Then it says, “we are soon cut off and fly away.” That is a hidden rapture parable! It is true in death, but it is very real for the rapture of the Church described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. We are the generation that will see all of these things come to pass.
THE TRIGGER: ABRAHAM ACCORDS & DANIEL 9:27
The world is fixated on the tensions between Iran and America, looking at Daniel chapter 8. But something else is waiting in the background, quietly setting the stage. I believe that after the midterms, God is going to permit the Abraham Accords to be fully completed. The Great Horn on the goat will wax very great, but what will cause the horn to break? The completion of the Abraham Accords, which will ultimately compromise God’s land covenant with Israel.
The Board of Peace is a massive deal. Many nations protest it as illegitimate, but it will happen. And this is where the Man of Sin will sit, fulfilling Daniel 9:27. If we see a third temple permitted to be rebuilt, and Muslims granted a portion of Jerusalem—something that blatantly violates God’s blood covenant with Israel—Church, if we see that, guess what? We are near at the very doors!
